Stoodle is a great, new site that allows teachers and student to collaborate using an online whiteboard.  Stoodle is super easy and the best things I like about Stoodle is that there is no registration and its iPad friendly.  There are many features like chats and searching to find images on the web within Stoodle.  I highly encourage you to check out Stoodle to engage your students.
