In this virtual world of Melody Street, instruments come to life through online videos, music files and games that help the students learn everything about melody and instruments.  Melody Street is all FREE and student can explore many ways to learn more about music.  This site could be great for a music teacher or anyone wanting to learn a bit more about music.  Melody Street is elementary focused but can be a great resource for older students as well.
