Whenever I am asked about classroom timers I recommend online-stopwatch.  Online-Stopwatch is a fun, FREE way to keep students on task.  However, if you are looking for an even simpler way to track time with your students just use a google search.  Once at Google.com, just type timer for 5 minutes.  Check out the quick video below showing how easy it is to use a Google timer.
