Heads Up! is the fun and addicting game that Ellen DeGeneres plays on her show.  This 99 cent iPhone or iPad app is played with two or more people.  One person will pick a category and display the answers on the top of their head.  The others will try and describe or act out the word or words.  Heads Up is a great game that can be as an “ice-breaker” or quick vocabulary lesson in your classroom.  To play, you simply tip the device forward if you get the word right and/or backwards to pass.  A really neat thing about Heads Up is that when the minute is done it will record the right and wrong answers along with show a video of the people who described each word to you!  I introduced this game to some people in California and it was a crowd favorite!
