I found out about a school/camp that provides students with real-life tools to create whatever they would like.  Tinkering School is a week long camp that lets kids explore their creative side.  Each day is spent figuring out projects, working on projects, and testing projects.  The instructors at Tinkering School are more like facilitators, they help students complete their projects on time.  I find the Tinkering School to be a great innovative way to educate kids.  I also think that the Tinkering School gives kids a chance to be a kid and gives time to creative thinking.  The TEDtalk embedded below will give you a great idea about what Tinkering School is all about.
