Google Hangout

I have been using Google Hangout for about a month now and I’ve found it to be a great way to collaborate.  I personally use FaceTime to communicate with my wife and daughter when I’m away but I really like Google Hangout to communicate with my professional team.  If you have a Google+ username/password, you are set up to hangout.  Below are some tips to get you started.

What you will need:

  1. Google’s video/voice plugin
  2. Webcam and microphone
  3. Google Hangout apps (this will “dress up” your hangout)

Ok, so you don’t NEED #3 but it is fun to create some comic relief every once in awhile.  I also think Google+ is great way to connect a classroom to local and global professionals.  If anyone would like to test/play/communicate with me by Google Hangout I will be available using Krexine@gmail.com
